Hi

I have been growing my hair since my last major haircut !! (short Bob) for more than a year.I got one hair cut in between and just a trim every 2 or 3 months . I color/highlight  my hair and always style it using blow dryer and flat / curling iron after every wash.So you can imagine after all of theses tortures hair will be a little damaged !
My hair ends was very very dry and frizzy and full of breakage a few months ago.I always use conditioner and at least every  two weeks I use a treatment mask, but still I needed help!

I picked up this JOICO K-pak reconstruct from  walmart only by browsing between those overwhelming numbers of treatments that you see in the store and Reading their instructions one by one! The good thing is this time I was lucky, this is a magic potion ,well at least it has been for me!
It is a very light weight white liquid and as you can see it come in a spray bottle.

 You should spray it on towel dried hair and do not rinse .It is a leave in treatment .I shake the bottle and spray it on my hair from my ears down and always apply my usual oil treatments(a little coconut oil and a quarter size macadamia oil or argan oil) right after this and leave my hair to air dry and then style it.

This is what the product claims to do:

Replenishes lost amino acids in weak, depleted hair by filling in damaged areas of the cuticle.

Your fine, fragile and lifeless hair experiencing breakage, premature color loss and a lack of styling responsiveness (due to chemical, thermal and environmental damage) has restored vitality, strength, shine and elasticity......and it has been 100% true for me!

 It has 19 essential amino acids and it is supposed to rapidly and effectively reconstruct the cuticle  and it absolutely does that. My hair is is not looking or feeling dry and frizzy any more and it is very soft and healthy and shiny ! I can't stress enough how much I love this product and strongly recommend it! Also it will  last you very long ,I have been using it for about 3 months now and it is not even halfway !
I bought it from walmart for 17.99 CAD I believe, how ever price might vary depends on the store.

Today I am reviewing this anti aging face cream that you see all over Internet these days!

Michael Todd True Organics Knu Anti Aging Face Lift

I purchased Michael Todd knu face lift from living social.com  for a promotional price of 25.00 $ plus 5.00 $ shipping . After watching so many people raving about this anti aging cream on you tube I was really interested to try it.( I did not receive any of Michael Todd products from them free"not that it will effect on my opinion!" what ever you see in this blog is always an honest review.Nevertheless I paid for all the products from Michael Todd skin cares or any other products for that matter with my own money which I would review them one by one for you). Now let's talk about Knu (New You)!

I have been applying this cream morning and night on my clean face and neck for more than a month now. This cream comes in a purple jar with silver lid.It is50 gr or 1.7 oz. ,It contains 70% organic ingredients ,It does not have any added water and it is not vegan .

The specific ingredient  in this face cream that has every bodies attention is living Snail Secretion Filtrate! and no snail was harmed during the process. At first I felt awkward and a little yucky to put snail secretion on my face however I made my self not thinking about what is in it some how ,since I badly wanted to try this product.

As I mentioned before I have normal,combination skin with some(not too many) fine lines and expression  lines.On my T zone pores are a little larger, I have very few sun/age spots .
Michael Todd website claims that it Immediately begins to lift, firm and tighten fine lines and wrinkles.Well  I don't know about every body else but for me that was not the case.It definitely didn't do any thing immediately for me! However after the first week , I started to see improvements.
The texture of it is unique. It's runny and has a whipped like consistency .

It has a mild scent that the best I can describe is like very mild white vinegar smell!! but it is  tolerable and it fades away very fast. You just need a little of it for entire face and neck.I just dip my finger in the cream and that is good enough.It absorbs fast and easy and gives a little sticky feeling to the skin which goes away fast as well.It is not hydrating enough, at least not for me and the directions of the cream says you can apply a serum or moisturizer after it absorbs in to your skin for more hydration. I apply Michael Todd Hyaluronic Acid + C Antioxidant Serum " which I will review separately" and a light simple moisturizer after that at night and the same serum and my sunscreen lotion in the morning. The first change I noticed after one week was  that my skin felt firmer and tighter. After one more week I noticed that my pores are a little smaller and the texture of my skin is smoother and more even .Most of my acne scars are gone and I see  a lot less sun/age spots and another improvement that is very noticeable to me is this one; The skin at the corners of my nose was always a bit red and that redness is gone!
I have an acne prone skin and ever since I started applying this cream I did not  have any break outs which is great  too! I don't see a very significant changes in my expression lines but my fine lines seems smoother and I don't have any wrinkles so I wouldn't know how it will effect on deeper wrinkles!
So considering that knu cream made some positive changes in my skin Ive' been very pleased with it and I will definitely continue purchasing it ,but not with the full price of 150.00$ ! To me it is just too much.

I am back with another empties.I love reading these kinds of posts or watching the videos because when you use a product up completely then you definitely can judge whether you like it or not ? how does it really work? does it really perform well for what it claims to do?Is it worth the money?...
I normally don't include bath products in these posts unless they do some thing really worth mentioning! So let's get started...

• Batiste Dry shampoo

 Batiste dry shampoo comes in variety of scents and also there is one specific for darker hair that does not leave a white cast behind. This one that I used up is the original one.First off about the scent ,It has a strong soapy smell that I don't like but I could tolerate! It does leave a white cast behind how ever after messaging your roots with your fingers for a couple of minutes and then comb it through it will disappear. It definitely absorbs all the oil and leaves the hair perfectly clean and fresh and gives volume to your hair as well . I will not repurchase it because I was sensitive to some ingredients in it that made my scalp itchy every time I used it!!
I will try other dry shampoos and will let you know what is my favorite. For any one who doesn't have this problem that I had it is a good dry shampoo.

• BIODERMA SOLUTION MICELLAIRE

This product is a makeup remover.It is made in France and fortunately available in Canada .I purchase the big(500ml )bottle which comes with a pump from shoppers drug mart  for 33.00 CAD.The smaller bottle is 250 ml and 22.00 CAD.I absolutely love this makeup remover. I use it only to remove my eye makeup.For my face I use Kirkland wipes which I reviewed in the previous Finished products and mini reviews post.
This makeup remover cleans all my eye makeup and I should mention that I always wear complete eye makeup,eyeliner ,eyeshadow, mascara,the whole nine yard,and this solution removes all of it. I've gone through several bottles of it and I will always repurchase it!

• AVALON ORGANICS HAND AND BODY LOTION

   

This is a certified organic hand and body lotion which is available in most organic stores and it is available in some other stores that carry organic products as well. I bought it from shoppers drug mart.The price varies between 8.00 to 11.00 CAD depends on the store.This lotion is a reach moisturizer.The texture is not too tick and not too watery .It absorbs fast and easily and leaves the skin soft and hydrated . It has a lovely herbal scent .It is free of paraben and other harsh preservatives.It contains sunflower ,flax seed and coconut oils and it is 100% vegan and cruelty free . I will repurchase it .I absolutely love it and I have 2 back up of it right now!

• CLINIQE all about eyes 

   

Clinique all about eyes is a nice and light eye cream. I can't say it did a miraculous job on my eyes .It has a nice consistency(not too thick and not too watery). It absorbs easily and fast so you don't need to tug the delicate skin under your eyes to apply it.It  moisturizes the skin perfectly and keeps it moisturized through out the day.It doesn't make your under eye makeup look greasy or patchy ,however in terms of instantly and over time  diminish the look of under eye circles, shadows, and fine lines which is what the product claim to do ,I can't say I agree.I might still repurchase it in the future just for the sake of hydrating under eye skin.

• CLINIQUE repairwear uplifting

I received this 15 ml sample size in a gift with purchase which I have to say it lasted me a decent time.The full size is 1.7 Fl oz or 50 ml and  it is 71.00 CAD available at any clinique counter. It has SPF 15 and the one that I've used was specific for dry combination to combination oily which actually was perfect for my skin(normal to combination). I used this cream during the cooler months so it was perfect at the time because it is a rich cream and very moisturizing . Considering the fact that in Canadian cold winter skin becomes very dry it was very comforting but I think it might be a little heavy during the warmer months at least for people with oily or combination skin.I did not see any special changes in the firmness and elasticity of my skin.All I can say is that it was a very good moisturizer.I will not repurchase it because I don't pay 71.00 CAD to a moisturizer! When I pay this much for a cream I expect to see some changes in my skin more than just hydrating it.

• Stila Lip glaze in maraca

 These lip glosses are on the pricey side. Full size is  23.00 CAD .This particular shade was in a trio set with 2 other beautiful colors. They are 1.5 ml or 0.05 fl oz. I got the trio from sephora long time ago for 13.00 CAD !They have a fruity scent that is not too over powering ,to me it is very pleasant . They last decently long. I love stila lip glosses and I have several shades of them how ever if you don't like the sticky feeling of some lipglosses I should warn you they are a little sticky which I am ok with it.If you like to try them the economic way is to buy the sets either trio sets or the big sets that normally come around Christmas time.This shade( maraca) was a gorgeous peachy nude and unfortunately I can't find it any where!
