I've been loving this foundation from clinique for more than 3 months now,so I am going to share my thought about it with you.

Clinique pore refining solution  foundation is a medium coverage foundation and you can easily build it up to get a full coverage without looking cakey.

The price is 33.00 CAD.It comes in 1 FL Oz (30 ml) bottle and It is oil free,allergy tested and perfume free.It has a creamy texture.It comes in 12 shades and my shade is #2 alabaster(I am MAC NC20/25).

The foundation claims to  Softens and blurs appearance of visible pores instantly and over time.

It has a natural matte finish.I have to say It definitely instantly covers the pores and gives a beautiful natural finish ,however I can't really say that over time it makes the pores smaller?! 

I love my shade, it is the perfect match for my skin tone. This is my every day foundation and if I want as I mentioned before I can build it up for a flawless coverage as well.

I apply it in the morning .It is very smooth and blend easily. I can apply and blend it either with my fingers or brush and it looks perfect all day.

It doesn't break me out and It  is really light weight ,you don't feel at all that you are wearing foundation. It keeps my skin hydrated ,doesn't dry me out and doesn't make me too greasy either .With this foundation I don't get shiny on my T zone for hours ,which I normally have problem with! It doesn't set in to fine lines.

This foundation has become my HG every day foundation and I will repeat purchasing it . I think the price is very reasonable too!

High End Products Worth Spending

There are some products either high end or may be in the middle that  worth spending money on, and some that really don't do any thing magical and you can always find a close alternative dupe for them in drugstore with the fraction of the price that will do the same job or sometimes even better!
For example I normally don't spend a fortune on lip liners,mascara and eyeliners because there are so many great quality drugstore alternatives! Any way ,these are some of the higher end( non drugstore) products I will repeat buying the minute I use them up!

I always invest on a good foundation,a good canvas gives you the best results,and a good foundation will transfer your skin to a beautiful flawless canvas.So if there is only one product that you can splurge,I believe that should be a good foundation !

• Laura mercier Secret Brightening Powder

 


Setting concealer is an important step of any makeup routine.There are so many different products for that purpose .My favorite is this one. It is a white loose powder, very light weight and it won't settle in to the fine lines(but if you have wrinkles or too many fine lines under your eyes then setting concealer might not be good for you ! It might make the wrinkles more visible).It will help your concealer last longer and gives a beautiful brightness to under eye area.

• Benefit hoola bronzer

   

This bronzer is absolutely beautiful.It works for light and medium skin tone(I am mac Nc20 concealer and NC 20/25 Foundation) for darker skin tone it might be too light.It is not orange, not red or gold ,It is just right.The perfect cool tone brown .It is great for contouring or  for bronzing the entire face.

    This is a beautiful soft champagne color high light with a very subtle silver tone shimmer.It gives a gorgeous shine to the face that is not too over powering!

• theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer Highlighter

Another beautiful champagne highlighter that give a very pretty youthful glow to the skin.This highlighter has a pearly finish .It doesn't have shimmer or sparkle.It can give you either a very subtle highlight or more glamorous shine depend on how light or heavy you apply it.

I have tried so many different eye primers( eyeshadow base) high end or drugstore,but I always went back to my very favorite which is mac paint in bare canvas. This basically counts as a cream eye shadow.It goes on creamy and smooth,blends easily and won't crease.It evens out the skin of your eye lid like a foundation(If that makes any sense!) covers any flaws that you might have and transforms your eyelid to a beautiful soft and smooth canvas. Your eye shadow and eye liner will stay the same for entire day.I absolutely love this product.  It will last you a long time because a little goes a long way.

Well I am sure this is the most famous eyeshadow palette in the makeup world!!

I have the original naked palette however they are both equally gorgeous,and worth every penny!
I usually gravitate towards warmer tone eye shadows more, that is why I have the first naked palette.Naked palette 2 has more cool tone eye shadows. This palette "which I am sure most of you are familiar with" has 12 good size neutral Shades eye shadow with great quality and can give you a soft look for day time or more dramatic eyes makeup for evening.I believe naked palette(either 1 or 2) is a must have in every makeup lover collection!

These  lip glosses give your lips the most beautiful shine.They are very creamy,not at all sticky.They create the look of fuller lips, They are very smooth and  long lasting .They have a tingling sensation how ever it is not that awful burning feeling of other lip plumper glosses.It is more like a cooling sensation(like a minty gum) .They have a lovely sweet scent (like caramel or brown sugar!) and they are paraben and sulfate free.They come in a wide variety of shades.

I am sure there are other high end products worth spending ,These are some of my favorites!
