My Top Ten Favorite Mac Lipsticks

Top favorite posts or videos are one of my favorites to read or watch.Most of the time I end up discovering new products that I really like!

Any way these are my top ten  favorite mac lipsticks from permanent line. I didn't include limited editions because if you like them you might not be able to find them anymore so, there is no point of mentioning them.these lipsticks are my favorite colors from different finishes and in no particular order.lets get started :

Angle:                 

Angle is a frost finish .It is a gorgeous muted blue pink .very flattering on most skin tones. It doesn't have any sparkle or shimmer and it feels very creamy not at all drying like most frost finishes.

  Cream Cup:

 

Cream cup is a creamsheen finish .So it has a creamy texture and it is a very light blue pink.Very similar to angle but cream cup is more neutral and warmer than and angle.Absolutely love them both .

Fabby:

 

Fabby is another frost finish .it is a light mauve color with gold sheen.I love it with strong eye look .it is a good nude for me since it's very close to the color of my lips,and the gold sheen makes it even more interesting!

Lovelorn:

 

Lovelorn is luster finish.It is a medium blue pink and because it is a luster it has a bit of a glossy finish.very pretty for spring and summer.

Speed dial:

 

Speed dial is a creamsheen . Anther medium blue pink but a bit warmer  than lovelorn.Another beautiful color for spring and summer.

Shy girl:

 

 Shy girl is a creamsheen finish .It is a light neutral peachy pink,but it is more peach than pink. Gorgeous color .Absolutely love it with smokey eye look for every season.

Blossom culture: 

 

Blossom culture is from sheen supreme line. These lipsticks are like a mixture of lipstick and lip gloss.They have a glossy finish .I love the formula of these lipsticks .They are 2 in 1 product! If you like glossy finish like I do ,you don't need to wear a lip gloss on top of them. This shade is a beautiful pink coral color.Very pretty for spring and summer. I think blossom culture is flattering on every body!

Supreme style:

 

Supreme style is a sheen supreme .It is a very light pink coral color .It is another beautiful every day color.
I think of it as a perfect nude ,at least for my skin tone(Mac NC 20).

Bare again:

 

Bare again is another sheen supreme. It is a pink beige nude color .Another favorite nude lip color.I am not a big fan of concealer type nude lipsticks that completely erase your lips.They are not flattering on my skin tone .These are my version of nude lip.very beautiful every day lipstick that goes with pretty much every eye look!

Quiet the thing:

 

 

Quiet the thing is another sheen supreme .It is a deep blue plum color .it is very similar to mac rebel but lighter and more wearable. Very pretty color for fall and winter.

As you can see my favorite shades are  mostly in the same family, but when you apply them on the lips they look different. I hope you like this post. I would love to know what are your favorite mac lipsticks .If you like leave a comment and let me know! :)

About 2 mounts ago during Christmas I got this new foundation. I tried makeup forever HD foundation prior to this one and I was very happy with it,how ever I feel that makeup forever HD is more like a medium to full coverage .I wanted a very full flawless foundation for special occasions that you want to look flawless!
I've been using it long enough now and It's time for a review!
I don't have too many problem areas on my face except for a few fine lines and occasional acne scar!
I have  normal to combination,acne prone skin. I get shiny some times on my T zone,I have fair skin tone .
I think before any review it is important to know a little about the skin of the person who's been testing the product!

What  Foundation claims :

 It gives an exceptional coverage with smooth  finish.It provides 24-hours wear with transfer resistance. Natural polymers absorb oil for a matte, soft finish and the added emollients provide a velvety texture for perfectly smooth, hydrated skin.
It is paraben free,Synthetic Fragrances free

My experience:

 It definitely covers every thing , blends nicely to a smooth velvety finish as it claims. It stays perfect a long time. I can't say that I agree with 24 hours because I never leave makeup on my face for 24 hours ,so I wouldn't know!? but for 8 to 12 hours It looks flawless!
I don't feel that it keeps my skin hydrated .I  put moisturizer on my face underneath the foundation.It gives a matte finish which I would have preferred satin finish!This is the only thing I would change about it!
I think satin finish makes the skin look more alive and younger!
It does come in a wide range of shades(13 shades ) and my shade is light 48(L-48).

It has a thick creamy texture as you can see on the picture and  a little goes along way! as I mentioned before I only use this foundation for special occasions that I want to wear full flawless makeup. I don't wear foundation every day and if I do on regular days I wear a light to medium coverage foundation with a natural finish.
In conclusion,I like this foundation! I don't know if I will repurchase it right after I finish this one because I like to try other products ,however It is one of my favorite full coverage foundations now.

This blog post is all about  the products I've finished recently and what I think about them .Will I purchase them again or not...?! I hope you like it!

 

Mac Brush Cleanser

 

This is the second bottle I've gone through.I like this product .The price is 16.50 CAD(Canadian Dollar).I use this to clean my makeup brushes in between my weekly deep cleaning that I wash them with baby shampoo and warm water.It does the job perfectly and I will repurchase it .

Kirkland Daily Cleansing Towelettes

 

You can purchase them at Costco.I absolutely love these  makeup remover wipes. A big box of 150 wipes (4 packs of 30 wipes and 2 packs of 15 wipes) cost 10.49 CAD(amazing price).They have chamomile and triple tea complex & vitamin E.They are very moist right to the last wipe.They remove every bit of makeup from my face and eyes .They don't break me out and don't sting my eyes.I use these at night before washing my face.I already bought another box!

THYERS Rose Petal Witch Hazel Toner

 

 

This is a natural alcohol free,paraben free toner. I have already bought another one .This is an amazing toner.It is very gentle and calming on the skin. I have normal-combination, acne prone skin and this toner  reduces my breakouts .it has: rose water,aloe leaf juice and witch hazel extract .I absolutely love it.You can purchase this on line or from organic health food stores.The price is 9.00 to 12.00 CAD.

ONYX professional nail polish remover

 

 

 I purchased this from walmart .The price is between 3.00 to 4.00 CAD. It has a pump and mild strawberry scent !So unlike most nail polish removers it doesn't make me cough every time I remove my nail polish! I've been very happy with it .It removes non glitter nail Polishes easily and for glitter nail polishes I use 100% acetone from the same brand.It is for natural nails. It does not dry out my nails .I've already repurchased this.

Laroche-Posay Lipikar LAIT Lipid -Replenishing Body Milk

 

 

This is a rich creamy fast absorbing body cream. I like it specially for winter time since my skin becomes really dry.It has a mild scent that I am not too crazy about but I can live with it. I like the texture and the richness and the fact that it keeps the skin moisturized for hours.It is paraben free which is another fact I like since I don't use any body cream or lotion that has paraben anymore.the price is 28.87 CAD at sears .com but you can purchase it from shoppers drug mart as well. I will repurchase it again after I finish all the body lotions I already have :) but only for winter!it is too heavy for summer.

Desert essence  Coconut hair Defrizzer& Heat Protector

 

 

This is a 100% vegan heat protector spray.I liked it for a while It was one of my favorites hair products back in Nov ! how ever I am not 100% sold about the "defrizzer" part anymore and I want to try other heat protectors to see what is better out there !? So I will not repurchase it for now.The price is between 7.00 to 8.00 CAD and I bought it from organic health food store.

Vichy Normaderm Night Chrono-Action Anti-Imperfection Care

While back I decided to start using "all natural oils " as my moisturizer based on all the ravings and reviews I saw on you tube and .....The problem is that not every body is gonna have the same result with those oils and to be exact I used virgin coconut oil which is an essential  for my hair care routine ,and I love it for that and jojoba oil  which I am using that one on my hair now as well. However they did an awful job on my skin!! They clogged my pores and made them larger and uneven.I broke out badly and I had so many small pimples on my chin! So after this experiment I got Normaderm Night Chrono-Action anti-imperfection from Vichy.

• Pores are less visible  96%

My experience:

I can't say I saw any difference in my skin after 1 use! how ever I loved the result after almost 3 weeks using it every single night.It definitely made my skin more even  70%.It made my pores unclogged 80% and made them less visible 70%.

I am very happy with the result! This cream has very mild scent ,nothing over powering,It has a unique texture! It is not similar to any cream I've used before. It has some kind of  powdery finish feel to it !I don't know how to describe it better!
I got it on sale for 22.00 $ (CAD) but the price is between 24.00 to 29.00 $(CAD) depends on the store ,and it is 1.69 FL.OZ
